Welcome to Maple Loyalty! By accessing or using the Maple Loyalty mobile application, website, or services (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and Maple Loyalty Inc. (“Maple,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
1. Overview of Services
Maple Loyalty provides a platform for users to collect and redeem loyalty rewards (“Maple Points”) from participating local businesses. Users may also receive promotional content, discover local offers, and interact with loyalty programs custom to each business. Some features may be released as beta or experimental. Maple Loyalty is under no obligation to support, maintain, or continue any specific feature, and we may change or remove them at any time.
2. Privacy and Data Use
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it in accordance with Canadian privacy laws.
- We collect only the data necessary to operate our services, improve user experience, and serve relevant promotions.
- Your personal data will never be sold to third parties.
- We may use your data to deliver targeted advertising within the Platform only.
- All data will be stored and processed exclusively within Canada, and never transferred, sold, or used outside the country.

3. Maple Points and Rewards
Maple Points are promotional in nature and have no cash value. They are not legal tender and may not be exchanged for cash or transferred between users.
- Maple reserves the right to change the redemption value, structure, or availability of Maple Points at any time, without prior notice or liability.
- Unused or expired points may be removed, limited, or forfeited, and we are not liable for any resulting loss of value.
- No property right or entitlement is created by the accumulation of points or participation in the program. We also reserve the right to adjust reward rules, availability, and merchant participation at our sole discretion.
4. Platform Changes and Termination
- Maple Loyalty may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time.
- We may modify these Terms as needed. Continued use of the Platform means you accept those updates.
- We reserve the right to suspend, limit, or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for any reason, including suspected fraud, abuse, or inactivity.
5. User Conduct & Account Security
You agree not to misuse the Platform, manipulate rewards, or engage in any unlawful activity. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, and any activity that occurs under your login credentials. Maple is not responsible for any unauthorized access or usage of your account.
6. Merchant & Third-Party Interactions
Participating businesses are independent third parties. We do not guarantee:
- The quality or availability of their goods or services,
- That any reward or promotion will be honored as listed,
- Or that your expectations will be met.
Maple Loyalty is not liable for any transactions or disputes between users and businesses on the platform.
7. Intellectual Property
All software, content, branding, and technology used in the Platform are owned by or licensed to Maple Loyalty. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse any part of the Platform without our permission.
8. Age Restrictions
You must be at least 13 years old to use Maple Loyalty. Users under the age of majority in their province or territory must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Maple Loyalty, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:
- Your use of the Platform,
- Your breach of these Terms, or
- Your interaction with third parties through the Platform.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim all warranties—express or implied—including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by the Maple Loyalty.
We have no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Maple Loyalty shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.
We strongly advise You to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that You visit.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Maple Loyalty shall not be liable for:
- Any lost points, promotions, or data.
- Changes to or discontinuation of features,
- Loss of business or profits, or Damages arising from your use (or inability to use) the Platform.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located in British Columbia.
